Cannibal! The Musical

“Cannibal! The Musical is loosely based on the true story of the only person convicted of cannibalism in America – Alferd Packer The sole survivor of an ill-fated trip to the Colorado Territory, he tells his side of the harrowing tale to news reporter Polly Pry as he awaits his execution. And his story goes like this: While searching for gold and love in the Colorado Territory, he and his companions lost their way and resorted to unthinkable horrors, including toe-tapping songs!”

The movie was written by Trey Parker, one of the authors of the Tony Award winning smash hit Broadway Musical “ The Book of Mormon” and the long running Emmy Award winning television program “South Park” and numerous other ambitious projects often with frequent collaborator Matt Stone, including: “South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut”, “ Orgasmo” and “Team America World Police”.

He must cope with both the strong-willed actions of his three older daughters—each one’s choice of husband moves further away from the customs of his faith—and with the edict of the Tsar that evicts the Jews from their village.”

Don’t forget to see Frank D. Gilroy’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play about a family in ruins and its final attempts to pick up the pieces. This Minerva Stage production is directed by Broadway veteran Peter H. Russell and stars Berkshire-based actors Bill Flynn, Jackie DeGiorgis, and Jesse Lee Egan Poirier.

Don Quixote – Minerva Stage announces  The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha, a new adaptation for the stage of Miguel de Cervantes’s 17th Century masterpiece. Adapted for the stage by Eric K. Auld, and directed by Edward Cating, this production will feature an ensemble cast of 7 men and women in a commedia dell’arte romp through the mind of Cervantes. Production design by puppeteer and artist David Lane.

Godspell is the 1969 New Testament musical by Stephen Schwartz and John-Michael Tebelak, featuring several renowned parables from the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, set to modern-day rock and gospel music. This production is directed by Kathleen O’Mara and musically-directed by Howie Levitz.

Minerva Stage and The McCann Technical School Drama Club are proud to present My Fair Lady, the 1956 Broadway musical written by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe.

This classic musical hit follows the story of renowned phoneticists Professor Henry Higgins and Colonel Hugh Pickering, who undertake the challenging task of turning wretched flower girl Eliza Doolittle into a proper Lady.
