Geo-what?! Geocaching is a worldwide treasure hunt that utilizes a handheld GPS unit, a good set of eyes and a bit of hiking around. Enter the secret world of treasure hunting. It’s a real-life adventure game where puzzles and challenges await you at each turn of the trail. Did you know that there are Geocaches around you right now? There are even Geocaches on every continent in the world! Experienced staff will guide you as you learn how to use a GPS for Geocaching, make your own Geocache, and log it online by giving your “cache” a name, description and hint for others to find. Explore the outdoors as you search for hidden containers and design your own Geocaching course. This workshop takes place at The First Congregational Church, of Williamstown.
